Rising Fast Realty ... the name
Many times, I am asked where the name of my
company came from, so I thought I would share a bit of history
with you...
About 15 years ago I was sitting in the
mountains just south of Patagonia and, as I was watching
the sun come up, it seemed that this particular time, it came
up especially fast. As I watched it , I said to
myself, “it's rising fast”, several times and then said,
if I ever start my own business, I am going to call it “Rising
Fast Realty”.
Well, for eleven years I considered starting my
own company and then, nine years ago, I felt the time was
right, (I recently celebrated my ninth year as Broker/Owner of
Rising Fast Realty). Prior to opening my own company, I
worked for Realty Executives of Tucson for 17 years. My
first three years in real estate were with a company called
Shadron Realty.
As we all know too well, our lives seem to be
always changing, sometimes for the good, other times for the
bad; sometimes we aren’t sure if the changes are good or bad,
that’s how I felt. It would surely be a major
change. I found out what it was like to only sleep about
two or three hours a night, jumping up to work on this idea or
that, weighing the good and the bad.
Now comes the good news. After nine years of
owning my own company, I have never felt better, I have never
been busier or happier. My little dachshund Charley
loves me more now since I have a little more time with
her.
I still have all of my contacts and, to be
honest with you, even more. I have reduced my overhead,
and in turn, I can pass the savings on to you, my clients. It
helped me to help you save money.
I hope you enjoyed my little story, I enjoyed
telling it and doing a little reminiscing about the
past.
